Recovery week is always a welcomed week, yet we always hope we will feel "recovered" and we never quite feel recovered! We remember this feeling all too well from when we trained for our last Ironman. As our LONG training day's start to increase in time/distance and we begin the bulk of our heavy training it can take a toll on oneself both mentally and physically.
Feeling tired, sore, bored, injuries, you name it, we are starting to feel it all over again!

Then we remind ourself the end is almost near and when the end is here we will miss it!
As well it's a reminder to ourselves to be grateful for our health and the ability to be able to do what we do. 
We raised our glasses and toasted to finishing a beautiful 70km ride... cheers...until next time!
