How could it be anything but a beautiful ride... we were in cottage country!!
We set out early with a map as our guide since both of us were unfamiliar with many of the roads we were about to travel.

Chris road up to the cottage the day before on his bike. Unfortunately he was met with brutal headwinds for the entire 140km ride so he called it a day at 110km and I picked him up in the sag wagon! ;)

We found a nice flat out and back route on quiet roads with good pavement.
At around 100km we were starting to get a little hungry and ready to bonk. Thank goodness for Grammies Pizza! It was SOO good!

We had stopped at community centres along the way to top up with water during our ride.
Mistakenly we should have topped up with more water at Grammies Pizza because we were on empty at about 130km.

Luckily we were able to fill up at a tap on the side of a country house. The water was HOT but much needed!
We soon made it to town and filled up at the beer store with some COLD water.
155km done and just in time for dinner!
